My wife and I have closed three purchases through Andrew. When we first started looking for property in Montana, we asked for referrals for a top-notch realtor in the area. Surprisingly, Andrew’s name came up more than any other’s. We contacted Andrew in advance of our arrival to discuss our interests and needs. Upon arrival in Kalispell, we received a complete and thorough package for us to review before starting our search. Throughout the process Andrew was quite candid with us while giving us insight to the advantages and disadvantages of each property. When we found the land we wanted Andrew made sure that everything went smoothly all the way through closing by paying attention to details that other realtors we have used would have missed. We built our cabin home on the property but later found another piece of land we preferred. Andrew's knowledge was again what we needed. With his market analysis we were able to list and sell within 3 weeks at a profit!
Of course we used him again to buy the second piece of property. He demonstrated that he in the one to use in the buying and selling process!
One last thing, if you call Andrew and he is not able to pick up your call immediately you can be sure he will call you back promptly. What a rarity!

We purchased our property 'long-distance' which meant that we necessarily had to rely on the services of our realtor, Andrew Hohnberger.We have been involved in real estate transactions a number of times in the past but we have never received such consistent attention and assistance as we received from Andrew in this transaction. Since it wasn't an expensive purchase and since he had to split the commission with the listing agent, it could not have been the prospect of a large commission that made him work so hard...
In the past there were questions that had to be resolved regarding the title. There were insufficient comps to make the appraisal acceptable to most lenders. It seemed that every way we turned we heard the same word' 'We like you but won't lend on this property.' It was a discouraging situation, or would have been with a lesser realtor. Andrew stuck with us through 10 mortgage companies until we found one that would loan on this property; then he was able to coordinate the efforts of everyone involved to make it from loan application to closing in 10 days!
If we had it to do over, we'd still choose Andrew, hands down!

When our home in Baltimore sold, I flew out to view properties in Northwest Montana and the Idaho Panhandle. With only three days to spend in Montana, it was critical that each hour be used to the fullest. Andrew was able to quickly assess my wants and needs after the first interview. He had a thorough knowledge of the market and we saved alot of time ruling out those properties that would not be right for me and my family. Each day as we began, I would have several advertisementsfrom real estate publications that looked interesting to me. In almost every case he had either seen the property in person, or had enough information to tell me if it would be worth seeing. That kind of market knowledge is indispensable to somebody working under such time constraints.
Buying a home from almost three thousand miles away is not easy or comfortable. I had complete confidence in Andrew. Many things were new to me such as, water rights and easements. He explained everything completelyand found prompt answers to those questions he couldn't answer immediately. When the home inspection turned up major problems, Andrew was there to follow through and make sure the repairs were completed.
Several weeks after the sale an issue came up relating to the original contract. Again, Andrew was there to handle this final problem, even after the sale was complete. Thanks to Andrew, we now own a little piece of heaven. He gets my highest recommendation.
